I would've definitely exclude a monster-in-law like this:

If I had to deal with a guy's nasty mother and it got to the point of a physical fight right before my wedding (that's already crossing the limit) like that scene... she wouldn't be allowed in my wedding nor my house at all. I think once you get physical with someone, there isn't any negotiations anymore.

A potential in-law once when making me a cup of tea put the milk in first, that was reason enough for me to realise it could never work with me and her daughter. No violence was needed, I just knew! lol

The wife of my bro was a total a=hole on their wedding night, like i stayed at the wedding party in a tent with my bro's friend cuz he asked me to and she went crazy on me no reason. Like i helped with the wedding and stayed for my bro and she does that she was punch drunk and i was sober as a dry gin, their whole family was embarassed and his best friend lost respect for all involved. So anyway i returned favour next family party i said whens it due when she wasn't preg 😁. And she's been all sweet since. Her youngest daughter is just lke her spoilt and the older daughter is like my bro, so i reverse psychd the younger one into giving all her toys to the older one and the older one hugged me lmao did this right infront of my bro's wife 😂😂 she looked at my bro like what kryptonite is this.
