Would you ever try to prevent a friend from divorcing their spouse?

Everyone saw it coming, but when my associate told me she was looking to initiate divorce proceedings from her husband (another associate of mine) I asked her to postpone her plans to September since between July and August there's the completition of a deal involving both her and her husband and I don't want any complication.

After all they are already separated. She agreed to my proposition, but only as favor to me that she expects to returned, which is fine with me. Normally I wouldn't interfere in other people's personal issues, but when it can interfere with my interests I have to step in.

Yes, I would. But they don't fucking listen.
(But that's probably the reason they're getting divorced in the first place. Because they're hardheaded and they don't listen well.)
