I never get asked out by guys. I feel like i’m too loud.. is that why? what am I doing wrong?

I would consider myself good looking. i’m a nice person, funny, i care about my academics and get good grades, im always looking for self improvement, but i feel like i’m loud and annoying. i feel like my volume prevents me from ever getting a boyfriend, or the reputation i’ve made for myself. i’ve had a guy that i liked say to my friend that he wouldn’t date me because i’m too loud. i’m trying to be a little quieter, but it’s a part of who i am. I don't know what to do. do guys really not like girls just because they’re a little loud?

Hard to say for sure but allow me to ask this: is “loud” only part of the equation? Is perhaps loud also boisterous, overpowering, or maybe lacking class? As guys I think we all like a girl with a good sense of humor but if she’s lacking class or boundaries or is willing to embarrass herself (or us) for a laugh we will probably take a step back.

Don't change who you are, there will be a guy who likes you for being loud you just need to find him. Also how many guess do you actually talk to, if you dont really talk to many guys of a similar age then you won't get asked out very much, since people don't really know you.

If you're loud it isn't a deal breaker. It is a negative though. I don't want to have all the attention drawn to us whenever we're out. If you're loud and obnoxious it is absolutely a red flag.

A lady I work with has a crush on me but I'd never even consider dating her. Why? She is too loud. I can hear her from 100 yards away. Being in a room with her is unbearable. Her laugh is loud, her voice is loud, her whisper is louder than most talking voice. I don't do loud or chatter boxes. With either one I never feel like I can concentrate, relax, converse with others, etc. So nope, not interested in loud women. Don't care for loud people in general.

No being too loud is no red flag to me. I think you're problem is rather that many guys have stopped asking out girls or never have done that. It's different if a reputation of being annoying that's something different than being loud.

Men don't like loud obnoxious women because they are annoying. If you are really hot they may put up with it, but only as long as it takes to smash. Also, guys don't care about your academics and your standards are probably too high as well.
