I just remembered a situation. I dated a guy for about two years. I had a cat, and I lived with a friend. When I wanted to move in with my boyfriend, he told me to choose between the cat and him. Dude was scared for the wallpaper in his house and the safety of his leather couch))
On the subject of the vaccine. If a man is going to put any conditions on me, it means he doesn't accept me and isn't ready to accept me. We are not on the same path.
Specifically for not getting the vaccine? No. But a lot of people opposed to the vaccine are also conspiracy theorists who think COVID was created in a lab just so the government could inject us with tracking devices. Would I break up with someone for that reason? In a freakin heartbeat. I have no interest in dating a nut job.
That’s stupid breaking up because one refused to take the vaccine you’re all grown ups every one has to choose don’t be forced to do something you don’t want if he or she wants to go then you’re not meant to be.
@Jamie05rhs First of all, there may be a few, but so what? And don't even link me to anything having to do with Fox. I won't even look at it. They're worthless.
@Jamie05rhs No, I don't get "triggered" by Fox or any other news agencies who report lies and bullshit because I don't watch them. If anything, I just shake my head that a) they do it and b) people believe it
That's what I call Covidiots - breaking up over whether to take the vaccine or not. Problems, that solve by themselves are my favorite ones. Besides, the vaccine does not make immune against the virus. I know people, who got vaccinated and caught the virus still.

Yes, I would break up. I would not date someone who wouldn't get vaccinated for two reasons:
1) It would compromise our ability to spend time together and be intimate.
2) I would not date someone who is ignorant enough not to get vaccinated.
it doesn't stop you getting the illness or spreading it just makes you less sick. Vaccinated people spread it at a similar rate to non vaccinated according to the CDC
It depends on how long we were dating. If it was a month or less, probably. A marriage or long term relationship no. However, I do believe vaccines will be mandated at some point so I will let Washington do it’s thing
I don’t mean a federal mandate. I mean you will need to be vaccinated to go pretty much anywhere or do anything (as New York has already done for indoor dining and gyms).
No. People who are vaccinated can spread the virus, too. If my boyfriend wants to put himself at greater risk of serious illness from the virus by not getting the vaccine, then ok. That’s on him.

Whatever happened to "until death do us part"? Now that we're playing the game on Black Ops level all of a sudden it's not fun anymore?
You’re better off dating someone vaxxed

Me? No.
I don't care if she gets it or not.
I'm fine with whatever she had chosen to do.
Women will divorce or find any reason to get out of things nowadays lol.

Specifically for Covid19..
.. it's not a deal breaker to me.
Because AFAIK, one can still be a disease carrier even after vaccinated.
I can't imagine my partner not wanting to be vaccinated, since she's in the health care field and knows what this is all about.
There are actually many healthcare workers who do not wish to receive the vaccine.
@Jamie05rhs Define "many"? I can guarantee you those who work in hospitals and/Covid units aren't among them.
They are, actually.
@Jamie05rhs Get me reliable data on that and then we can have a discussion.
Just read the news, bro. People are holding protests and shit. It's all over the country.
@Jamie05rhs What people? Who? Anti-vaxxers? Trumptards? I don't see health care workers protesting about being vaccinated.
Believe it or not, they are in fact health care workers.

@loveslongnails So you got triggered by a local FOX Network station? Wow.
@Jamie05rhs No, I don't get "triggered" by Fox or any other news agencies who report lies and bullshit because I don't watch them. If anything, I just shake my head that a) they do it and b) people believe it
No to each their own. As long as they are making their decision for their own reasons and not just following others' demands I wouldn't care.
I never thought it could be so contentious, but one of my friends has refused to get the vaccine and we have had some BITTER arguments.
Thank goodness she is NOT my SO!
If a relationship cannot handle a disagreement like this, it is doomed anyway.
Nope.
I can't control her.
She can't control me.

Yes. I don't tolerate stupid.

Mmm they CAN yes (with delta). But still infection rate is lower and hospitalizations are lower which is what we need.
Im startinng to think you're a troll acc lol
Only sometimes. This is not one of those times.
Nah bro i got your number now your a troll nobody is this commie like & is fine with it. I don't hate the hustle just know i SEE you
Considering I don't have the vaccine, it be nice knowing she doesn't have it either.
It depends on how long we were dating. If it was a month or less, probably. A marriage or long term relationship no. However, I do believe vaccines will be mandated at some point so I will let Washington do it’s thing
A Federal mandate for vaccines? You do know that's unconstitutional, right?
@Jamie05rhs yeah, these nitwits have no idea that something like forced vaccines would definitely start massive insurrections.
I don’t mean a federal mandate. I mean you will need to be vaccinated to go pretty much anywhere or do anything (as New York has already done for indoor dining and gyms).
@morgan10133 That would still be f*cked up, though.
I mean, I understand why. But I don't think it's right. Because it takes away people's freedom.
Its up to him if he wants to get it. Im in no rush to get it but he better not be jumping down my throat like certain people are

I ain't getting no vaccine!
