Is it your dream to marry a hot orphan?

My uncle who knows I am an Elton John freak told me I should watch the 1971 film Friends (see opening sequence above) because Elton did the soundtrack. He also said that the movie features his dream girl... a "hot orphan." He explained that such a wife would be ideal because there would be no in-laws to deal with. What do you think? Would you prefer to find a life partner who is an orphan? VOTE!

Hot foreign girls are better. That way you get all of the benefits of in-laws, but because they live in a different country, you only have to see them maybe every other Christmas.

Maybe every 4 years. We could alternate between spending Christmas with my parents and with hers, and between us going to them and them coming to us. The last time I did that (my girlfriend at the time was Swedish), her parents paid our travel costs, since they had plenty of money and we couldn't have afforded it otherwise (I guess being pragmatic, it's only money that she'd inherit later anyway). Also, if they're from somewhere nice, it's just like taking a holiday, but with free accommodation.

I met a hot orphan who seemed boring at first bc she just wanted to follow me and do what I did. But after some time, I found she has an amazing personality and always made me happy. Her job moved her away but if we meet in the future I will always help her bc she made my dreams come true

I think what she really needs is closure. For his actions to finally make sense, so she can make peace with the past and move on. He never gave her that. He simply vanished from her life.
