What's your opinion of public marriage proposal and do you think this lady is a mean prick for embarrassing the poor guy the way she did?

Oh man thats embarrassing for the both of them. What an awkward position he put her in. We have no idea what was going on in their relationship prior to that moment. She might have told him no several times beforehand. Regardless it was a very embarrassing situation for the man as well I think I would have told him no and taking him by the arm and insisted that he follow me away from the crowd I wouldn't have left them back there like that unless I had already told him no multiple times before and he was just pushing the issue then I would have left them flat just like she did

I meant to add it was awkward because she was in the middle of paying for food and for heaven sakes you're at a fast food restaurant pick somewhere romantic. Now if by any chance a fast food restaurant is significant to the two of you at least wait until you are both seated at a table. And As a woman as hard as it may be try to force a smile on your face snatch your boyfriend by the arm and pull him away from the crowd before rejecting the man... Now if he isn't your boyfriend but some crazy stalker then beat his ass lol

I personally hate public marriage proposals and I too would walk off if someone did that to me. A couple should talk about how they want to be proposed to beforehand to save each other from embarrassment and conflict.

No. She has every right to say no and we have no idea what their relationship was like.

Sometimes people will publicly propose to the other person so they will feel pressured to say yes. That might not be whats happening here, cause again we don't know what their relationship is like, but it is something that happens.
