As of now I have no financial or emotional needs that I require a guy to take care of but it might benefit me to get a guy I don't need just for the happiness and mood boost.
In ideal society, there are no personal possessions, but only group owned, individually or sub-group stewarded belongings. In such society, the just cause to marry, is if it will cause suffering not to lust after each other, and to remain totally celibate. If, then, there is distinct metabolic need to engage in physical interaction of a non-platonic nature, it is recommended, then to marry. Such is the truly biblical standard. How old was you when he said that? it's harder and harder for girls to marry as they get old.
I feel that it would be unwise to get married to somebody until you've spent enough time with the person, truly gotten to know him as a person, and both of you feel that the relationship is stable enough.
Never rush into something as serious as marriage.

In the Bible, no woman ever got to the point she didn't need a man. God didn't create women to be independent. Women that don't need a man won't stay with a man, she will leave when things get tough.
Women must marry and have children before the age of 30.
