1st off - if she doesn't want to marry you, discuss her reasons and if there appears to be no particular timelije or compromise that can be reached, LEAVE HER IMMEDIATELY.

No one worth marrying has ever needed "convincing" to say "I do". Marriage has to be built on mutual agreement, understanding, affections and above all trust.

Lastly, if you do marry someone else be sure to discuss the four pillars of marriage: Money, kids, in-laws and sex.

Money- how it's spent, bills are divided and accounts are arranged.

Kids - NON-NEGOTIABLE do you want them? Yes or no (anything other than these two answers is a huge red flag). Parenting styles, values, roles.

In-Laws - you are not just marrying her, you are marrying into her family too.

Sex - quality, quanity, taboos and finally birth control.

Shouldn't require too much convincing. If so, then there's some things to talk about and work out how things will work. This is very individual question, with no detail, you are doing a sales job with promises and I don't like that. Id want mutual buy in that is realistic for both. I'd want to know you are aligned in what you want in life and willing to support the other through thick and thin.

Things you should discuss before getting married: finances (saving vs spending and financial priorities), sexual interests and expectations, children, parenting styles, professional ambitions, where you would like to live, religious beliefs, where you see yourselves in 5, 10, 20 years, how you envision retirement, etc. Not an exhaustive list, but must discuss topics for sure.
