Because they can relate to one another easier. The professions you listed aren’t easy. Therefore, when they vent to their spouse, the spouse has a better understanding of what they’re going through.
Because it's a warm market to have better love influences and connections. Plus they can know each other much quicker that way. Since many environments accept it just to avoid discrimination and possibly lawsuits 😊
not exactly. at the hospital where I work at, most nurses date other nurses. most doctors date other doctors. Nurses don't date doctors very much. Police officers tend to marry other police officers instead of the clerk at the police station.
just seem like people like to breed with their own exact kind.
I went out of my way to get me and my Fiancée working together, same shift, same team, sometimes just she and I. We spent almost every minute of every day together and it was a blessing!
They can relate & connect easier. It makes things less awkward. It would be creepy for a guy to try to talk to a women they have nothing in common and can communicate easier on a shared goal.

I’d prefer to marry someone who works a similar schedule and can understand why I chose the work I chose
I never see that. Unless its like celebrity work (acting, artist etc). Almost all marriges/couples I've seen have different kinds of jobs.
Hmmm, I don't know - I can only think of one friend who's profession is the same as her husband's.

I’m not sure. I guess because they’re work colleagues one of them asks the other one out and things just go from there.
doctor marry another doctor is common , but that is it , i think i tend to see more married couple with different job
believe it or not, couples with same jobs happen way more than you think.
I see , i think people date someone with same profession because they usually have same work time schedule, which make em easier to meet.

In many cases I expect that is just a function of opportunity. People in the same profession have a greater chance of meeting one another.
that is who you are usually around, so because of the shared interest you tend to gravitate towards them.
Frequency of contact means more possibilities of developing a relationship. Understanding of the responsibilities means a better chance of keeping it.
often social circles shrink and people only really meet people at work as they get older so a lot would marry someone they dated through work

Common interest and accessibility probably.
No its not like that at all.
Well the percentage is high on doctor side, but not others.
its high on police officers too.
They think they can have better understanding if they marry someone with same profession.
It helps to be with someone who understands with experience in similar backgrounds
Very obvious no need for complicated maths.
Commonality in chemistry
Because they work around eachother or they just have a lot in common since we spend such a large portion of our time at work
Actors and actresses seem to change spouses like their underwear.
even actors / actresses date other actors /actresses. how often do you see them dating some random guy off the street?
The ones that break tradition seem to stay married. At least they usually aren’t in the limelight.
