What are your must haves for a low-key wedding?

When I ask this, I am asking more directly for the low key ones (think less casual clothing plans, a small intimate ceremony and then a relaxed "house party" at a relatives for the reception). So feel free to share things you may find helpful/things you maybe regret not having?

Yeah... I'm sort of wanting actual serious answers that are more of things/services than trolling or 'family and enjoying themselves'. (Not saying it's not important but yeah, that's sort of guaranteed)...

A wedding is about letting people you care about that you love someone and intended to spend the rest of your life together with them.
This may or may not involve deities...
The way I see it is that what matters is that you should focus on what matters to you.
People who matters to you.
Places that matters to you, music that matters to you etc.
That *may* be something traditional, or it might not be.
But both of you should sit down and talk about what you *feel* about a wedding and what *you* feel like you need.

Even if others might feel like they need more or less that's what *you* need.

Afterwards you need to look at what you want included and see what kind of logistics is needed to facilitate that.

For instance if you are a host then your guests probably will need some food in order to have a nice time.

If providing that is difficult it's possible to ask guests to bring some food themselves, reducing the amount of food that you need to offer.

Just be pragmatic and look at what's needed for everyone involved to have a good time.

If someone is disabled, have special food requirements/allergies, if someone has phobias etc that's probably something you should keep in mind.
So someone with a fear of heights might not feel great about you two marrying on the edge of a cliff for instance...
Or in a parachute etc...

If guests are religious that might also matter, and atheists have married in religious ceremonies before in order to ensure that religious guests are happy too.

But yeah, I hope some of this helped.

Just one more thought, hopefully your wedding has not passed.
you could encourage your guests to take lots of candid photos, either with disposable cameras, or other digital cameras, and upload all of the photos to a specific website and download all of your favorite photos from your big day!

I went to one recently that I thought was really good. It was far more about them joining their lives together than about a big flash party.

The bride still wore a wedding cake dress but the bridesmaids wore their own dresses that had a consistent color theme.

It was in a country 100 year plus hall with trestle tables and rented chairs. The food was cooked by immediate family. Afterwards there was a silly bride and groom game where they answered answered questions..

It was the best wedding because of all these aspects. As I said at the start it was focused on two lives being joined.

Me and my husband eloped not too long ago. We still agreed in wearing something really nice without spending millions. I did lots os research and eventually found a designer that had a really good price for dresses.

I know a couple who got married on a beach, on a small Caribbean island. They flew one other couple there to be their witnesses, all expenses paid, which happened to be me and my SO! They had no family to invite, none at all. Friends were invited at their own expense, but none came. There was a "thousand dollar party" when they got back, meaning they spent no more than a thousand bucks for food and booze and had it in their home. That was it.

Actually don't have much Idea about abrahamic religion marriages so can't say particularly about it,
But my idea is for small scale marriages, must have is priest, some relatives from both side, photographer, bride and bridegrooms, with proper dress, place for at least 20 people can can seat and eat after marriage ceremony.
