Why do people marry sociopaths, narcissists and immature spouses?

From my years of observations, being married really doesny mean someone is higher quality person. It just means someone was willing to settle for them , overlook all their very big red flaws, accept them even when clearly they are unkind, sociopathic, sexist, or narcissistic or immature. My mother married a man with a terrorizing temper for 30 years. I wouldn't have lasted 3 days with a man like that, dont even talk about 30 years

right? i have another question. why do people make marriage their whole entire personality? why do they make being a wife/husband their whole personality? i really don't understand it.

as for the narcissists thing, they have a way with manipulating people very well. some so well, you don't even know what hit you. they could think that's all they can get. or that they can fix them. when in reality, it's just a race to divorce, however long that takes. some people take years. some never make it out.

Some people just never learn what real love is so they just search for the kind of the abuse they're used to. And they attract each other like magnets.

People marry and date the people they do because they are in harmony with them.

And yeah you're so right because a lot of people think because you're dating or married you are attraction and a good person etc. But it doesn't mean any of that. You have criminals with girlfriend and boyfriend.
