Something genuine and private.
(I don't like public proposals)
I've always loved the image of a small arched bridge over water in the evening, with lights on it.
But that's not something I need for the proposal. Just would live to have a romantic moment at such a place.
Some where he or she where first met.
Ah, the magic of a perfect proposal! 🌟 Iβm all about creating moments that feel intimate and genuine. Picture this: a cozy beach picnic as the sun sets, waves whispering sweet secrets, and you pop the question with a hidden gem in the sand. Itβs personal, warm, and speaks volumes about your unique connection. Just remember, the best proposal captures your story and brings out all the feels. 💞

I don't really believe in marriage 💍 it's also the annoying ring aspect 💍
I for one like more, civil unions or long term relationships yes even heterosexual - aka me and my girlfriend - would probably never want the baggage of husband and wife ; it's about the rings
And legal document name changes for her (the spouse) βοΈ

I like fireworks.
The way my husband proposed to me was more perfect than I would have never imagined. It was so perfect, it received a standing ovation from everyone in the restaurant we were in, and then we received our meal for free.
This is such a girl question.
Ask the question, get a yes. Why does all the hooplah matter.
Because women like all that soppy crap. Apparently, you're not supposed to ask while you're sat on the sofa watching Come Dine With Me...
@CaptainSmartass it's a once in a lifetime moment so why not make some effort to make it more special and memorable
People have married and had families for THOUSANDS of years.
For THOUSANDS of years people had marriages and raised kids and stayed committed and built lives together.
Well, people nowadays think they have reinvented wheel.
No one had any wisdom before, what the modern trends are represent the apex of all wisdom.
Now is the best way.
Over the last few decades all of the focus has turned to "dates" and being in love and how you feel all the time and dating around for 10 years until you can pick a mate. Paralyzing yourself with too much choice. Now everything revolves about treating every woman like she is some royalty princess with some exotic proposal to post online and to get envy from friends.
It is about spending tens of thousands of dollars on these grand ceremonies as if you are royalty. Showers, bachelorette parties.
Nothing about duty, honor, responsibility, roles, loyalty and how to honor a lifetime commitment.
Fancy proposal.
Fancy ceremony.
Then half the self absorbed people divorce within ten years.
The "till death do us part" became: I feel bored. He doesn't do enogh chores. My co-worker is cute. Time to divorce.
Your priorities are fucked up if some grand, exotic proposal you can record for the internet is your focus.
The fact your hirs stand up when challenged that proposals and expensive days aren't the priority shows you are part of the problem.
Hairs
Just because people married and had families for thousands of years doesn't mean the way they did it was perfect or without flaws in fact many marriages in history were arranged for shared benefits not because people were necessarily in love, also we donβt just stick to old practices because theyβve been around for a long time. Weβve made progress in countless areas, so why not in relationships and marriage too
People can want a memorable proposal or a beautiful wedding day while still valuing the long-term commitment of marriage, maybe they just want to celebrate the start of a significant chapter in their life with their loved ones. also it doesn't even have to be fancy, you can check the comments, no women has mentioned a fancy grand ceremony, all what they said was a sincere proposal somewhere nice like a beach, a lake or a restaurant, it's literally free
I am not a fan of marriage proposals in public.
I believe these things should be private and intimate.
Food, he takes me to a restaurant and propose to me while we're eating dinner. I don't care as long as there's food, I'm happy happy happy happy like a little baby ducky 😅
on new years
he asks me
the question
we pop a bottle of champagne
have hot drunk sex
then the next day
exchange our vows
all hungover
laughing our butts off
What is your idea of the perfect proposal?
In this day and age not to receive or give one.
I'm not sure maybe a public one I guess mean he's not ashamed of me
I'm not sure re specifics but private, pretty location, possibly involving food, ideally involving the Cat Distribution System.
There is no perfect proposal. You can proposal a women when she's busy pooping 💩 and she'll still say yes! on the diamond ring when she's busy dropping poop 💩. It's the ring and your bank accounts it really matters to her!
The one where she says yes. That's all that matters. re-state//background_color_rgba (0, 0, 0, 0), font_color_rgb (77, 77, 77), justifyLeft
The perfect proposal starts with BOTH people wanting a MARRIAGE, not just a wedding.
Surprise created by beloved man 😍β€οΈ
Somewhere outdoors, like on a beach or overlooking a lake.
One that's romantic and a surprise, not a big staged dead giveaway
I WOULD DO IT SOMEWHERE PRIVATE JUST ME AND HER... NOT SOME BIG PUBLIC SCENE
Say it from your heart believing it, she will see it in your eyes
literally anything...
An honest one.
Any one where she says, "Yes."
On Mount Everest lol
One where she says yes hopefully lol
Intimate and alone
