Is jealousy bad in a marriage?

My husband is not one of those men who cheats. He believes in marriage until we're dead. He has shown me complete and utter raging jealousy even when a guy calls me beautiful just a simple compliment but I turned the tables on him cause now I get jealous of his stupid fat ugly married co worker. She's big and intelligent has 3 adult kids and I dont think he would want any of that. But our marriage has been good and bad. I think we're both insane.

A little jealousy actually can be a good thing , it shows that you love and care about your partner and you want them all to yourself and you don’t want anyone else taking them away from you. But being overly jealous is not necessarily a bad thing either , but it’s also not a good thing either if you are overly jealous , it pretty much means you don’t trust your partner and you don’t really trust yourselfUsually overly jealous people Are The ones that are up to no good and they usually project their insecurities onto their partner to act like they are this victim when really they are the POS. Usually cheaters will point fingers at their partner because they know they are guilty and want to make it seem their partner is the reason for their actions or behavior. So if you and your husband get jealous about each other , you are best to have a sit down talk with him and reassure him that you love him and that you are by his side until death do you part.

Like women, men want a life partner who will be  trustworthy, faithful and reliable . They want a wife who will stand by their side and, considering divorce rates, it’s no surprise that dependability would continue to be attractive. So yes, obsessed, jealousy is bad

In my opinion, absolutely. If you genuinely love your partner, then why would you ever want to make them experience negative emotions, justifying your satisfaction using the logic "Oh wow they care. They must love me."

A good, caring, and loving partner would do their best to make sure their partner doesn't feel jealousy or any negative emotions. Desiring jealousy from your partner is extremely immature and you're likely not ready for a serious, committed relationship if that's what you want from a partner.

It's also extremely childish to get jealous when someone else (even from the opposite sex) calls your partner beautiful or attractive using any adjective. I'd encourage that person to grow up. It only becomes an issue if they try to actively flirt and get physical with you.

I make it a habit to compliment people whenever I get the chance, regardless of age, sex, or their relationship status. I don't even think about it. I've told a man's wife just a few days ago she has gorgeous eyes. I've told a sales associate in a mall he looks like a model. I've told a lady at an outlet that I loved her dress and her sense of style. When listening in on peoples conversations, I sometimes say "I love the way you think." I compliment people whenever the thought occurs. Who knows? Maybe it might just make their day, their week, their month, or their whole year. Spreading positivity should only be seen as a good thing.

You have to be pretty insecure to get jealous over your partner being complimented by someone else.

If you feel the jealousy thing is getting toxic, ask for a talk with him or for a mediator you both trust to help you through this little patch.

It shouldn't exist in a marriage and in fact if your marriage has jealousy it's probably already bad. My go to is to blame fucking dumb bitches that thought they wanted marriage even thought they want to keep flirting with random guys and keep talking to their ex... oh, and randomly cheating. If you have not noticed... I have a special hatred set aside for the bitches in this department and I will remind you I didn't even want to respond to this shit but it's just shoved in my face.

Jealousy is insecurity it's not about the person who is triggering the jealousy. You both need to ask yourself what emotional needs are not being met? Why is that making you insecure to the point where you have uncontrollably anger? Also you also have to ask yourself how am I responding to the jealousy expressed by your partner. Because it can be a sign you are used to a chaotic home relationship which makes your dopamine levels feel normal or secure.

I would say jealousy is rare between 2 respectful, people who put the marriage first and who respect each others boundaries.

Jealousy is natural.. Couples should be Jealous, it Just means that you want to protect what's yours.. It should just be justified and in the right circumstances.. Getting upset over someone complimenting, instead of pleased screams a bit insecure to me.
