"Honey, I bought this cool (scam item), come check it out!" How would you react?

Soooo your girlfriend/boyfriend bought this thing that they seem so happy they bought for the both of you to use. However, it cost a lot of money and everything about it and the purchase says it's a scam and a waste of money. How would you feel about such a thing?

"Baby... you got scammed." (being soft but firm with them)
Bubbling mad because your partner is a dummy
See if the thing has some use... maybe.
