Which gift is the most appropriate?

My close friend and I are throwing a party to celebrate her cat’s recovery and survival from his illness and she’s treating me to lunch at an expensive place to thank me for my support. I’m bringing a gift, I told her. I’m wondering, what should I give her? I have a pretty nightie and matching robe, or a tea set, or amethyst pendant and matching earrings. I want to get something for the cat, too. What do you get cats? Is a brush okay? All the gifts are lovely.
