Why did he wish me happy birthday at midnight?

Yesterday was my birthday and the guy I've been seeing knew it was coming up because we talked about it last week--although I didn't tell him the exact day it was. I know he was on Facebook because he posted a video on his wall but he never said happy birthday to me. Then at exactly midnight when my birthday was ending I got 7 texts from him wishing me a happy birthday. but like, why the hell did he wait until literally the last minute to say happy birthday? What game is he trying to play here?

It just bothers me because I spent the whole day upset because he never wished me a happy birthday during the day... and he lives in a different timezone so where he was my birthday was already over -_-

Yeah but it's almost like he did it on purpose because I think it's too much of a coincidence for him to have send it right at midnight... it's like he was trying to make me wonder why he hadn't said anything all day and the say "jk I didn't forget your birthday".. I don't know if I'm right but if I am... like what is the point of that?

There's loads of close friends and friends I haven't wished happy birthday to on Facebook , because I've seen it at the start if the day, think I have all day to so it, then it slips my mind.

This poor guy didn't even know! If anything, he probably thought he got it bang in time, what with being in another timezone and not knowing when your birthday was exactly!

3 months... but he lives in a different city so he couldn't come and I also had school :/ I honestly think he did it on purpose though, but I just don't understand why...

I know.. it would've made more sense if it was midnight ON my birthday.. not midnight after my birthday was just ending.
