other piercings still seem to be just as popular as back then like nose stud and belly button but I agree the tongue piercing has mostly disappeared and the girls here that do get tongue piercing now and getting " tongue web " which is a small piercing under tongue that isn't even visible unless they show it

Personally, I find tongue piercings nasty and a sign of someone who has emotional issues / low self esteem. I just can't imagine why anyone would want to get one.
