So before you leave, I'd just like to say this might be a nice trend to hop on if I start nominating people.

I'm just going to justify why my personality is the closest to a Galapagos tortoise.

*sigh* it'd be pretty cool to be extinct.

and I'm gonna give you 7 reasons why.

1.) I'm very durable.

Ever tried to punch a tortoise? It probably hurts a lot. I don't know I've personally never punched a tortoise, but I bet it would sting ... Or something.

The analogy is that I (for the most part) have pretty thick skin, and I actually have a form of Hyper mobility that makes me more unaware of pain than the average human. So yeah.

2.) I'm kind of slow.

It's nothing new that I'm pretty thick, and I blame my learning disability on that for the most part, unfortunately it's the truth, I'm slow, but I'm not stupid. If I'm given time to react I can efficiently perform at the highest of my ability.( Which probably ain't much.)

3.) I have a protective shell.

This was actually told to me, rather than me discovering it myself. I have a tendency to any away from new people unless I know them well. It's the same with dating and relationships, if I don't know you, I ain't interested.

4.) I'm pretty stupid, but I'm not inexperienced.

Much like a tortoise, I don't have much to do besides observe and shit myself.

5.) I'm very passive, but even tortoises have limits.

I tend to not get into beef, but if I'm going to be harmed or insulted instead of criticized, I'll bite back.

6.) I'm basically harmless.

Yeah the "bite back" thing doesn't really work because while I may be physically capable of defending myself against a deaf cat in a wheelchair that's dead, I'm not very good at being argumentative or manipulative. It's hard for me

7.) I like veggies.

Brussels sprouts are my favorite.

Dude you are definitely not a tortoise. You are too smart. You are chill though. It is hard to categorize you. You are not slow by a long shot. The issue is you outpace people without trying. To yourself you are moving slow but to others around you, you are on another plane.

Even if I am high functioning, it's definitely not because I'm on another level. I'm not very conscious of what I do in terms of my thought processes.

Oh, I get that. You are detached.

You remind me of Galactus. He simply is disinterested in most things.

I remember when the Fantastic Four first boarded his ship and he walked right past them. And they were confused why he didn't attack or even notice them. And the Silver Surfer, his herald said, "Would you notice an ant, just because it came into your backyard?"

You might jump into political or social conversations every once in a while, because you notice something. But mostly you are above the fray.

Me? I am down in the muck with everyone else.

Well unfortunately that's kind of accurate in the sense that I'm detached, but not because I see anything as inconsequential like an "ant" for example. Because there's another saying, "If you saw an ant on the ground, would you even hesitate to continue walking with the ant's death in mind?"

Which is where the cut off is for me. I am not detached in a way that makes me feel unable to grasp the concept of consequences similar to Galactus. Galactus is detached because he believes he is free of consequences in general. While I rarely fear consequences on myself, because I am apathetic to the point of not wishing believe I am above or below anyone.

I am the sheep in wolves clothing. I can provide advice to wolves, and talk to them, but I will usually opt out of hunting or fighting. I am not above the wolves, I just choose to be around them despite our differences. Because while it's obvious I'm different, but people don't see me as more or less than what I claim to be.

You're passionate. Or you have anger issues that I don't know about. But either way that's nothing to be ashamed of. If you want to feel less heated about issues, the best way is to channel them in a way that let's you have introspection.

Also I'm probably less heated because I don't have any real problems, so being fearful or reactionary isn't in my nature.
