I see this Word around so often lately. Can someone please explain it to me, what is the meaning of it?

Sounds like a circle jerk convention, but the mass leak of celeb photos is the real definition. Fapping is a euphemism for male masturbation, and it's combined with The Happening to create a humorous name given to the day of the leak. August 31st 2014.

Remember, ladies and gentlemen, that whatever goes online will eventually be freely available online. If you don't want nude photos of yourself appearing on public websites and traded freely, do not create them. Once they are leaked even for a few seconds, they are essentially public forever. So what if someone released nudie pictures of a bunch of celebrities? I can't get my jollies off to that!
