I am pretty sure he likes me back, but he is so selfish, such a turnoff for me, but apart from that I know he is very kind. Should I move on, or give him a chance?

Selfishness is a very big flag for relationships. Sure, everyone has flaws of one type or another, but selfishness ends up popping up in a ton of different ways. It's a very invasive flaw and can pose all sorts of problems.
