A mother beats her child with an extension cord for being a "thot". Right or wrong?

So I LOVE getting peoples opinions on such controversial topics. So my question has to do with this video.

In the video a mother is whopping her child with an extension cord. The mother is the one recording it and her daughter is also half naked (only a t-shirt and panties on, lying in her bed on her stomach). She whoops her 50 or so times all the way through saying things like "I ain't raising no thot! I didn't teach you to be no hoodrat! You really wanna be a thot?"

There are three different types of people. Some think its ok and say "Its parenting, you have to teach your children to grow up right". Some say "Its so wrong, its child abuse and excessive. Should have never posted this for the whole world to see her half naked and getting abused". While others say, "Its parenting, she has to teach her child a lesson BUT it is excessive and over the top, she should have never posted this."

So... whats your view? How would you have parented her is this was your child?

First of all, I would never call my child a THOT. Second of all, I would never record a video like this and post for the world to see. Third of all and most importantly, I would never in hell beat my child with an extension cord or anything else. This whole thing is wrong on so many levels.

I totally agree discipline is need when parenting. This is not it. This is abuse and a disgusting excuse for a human being. You don't hit your kid with an extension cord. Wtf is a THOT anyway? Who says that's shit to their kid?

A "thot" is an abbreviation for "That Hoe Over There". Sadly, most black kids grow up like this (im one of them). Growing up, my parents - and even one time, my grandmother- whooped us or "disciplined up", whatever they want to call it, with extensions cords, hangers and belts. I grew up having a resentment towards them for that.

Lol, "you like being a thot?". And then "Oh, you turn down for what?"... I guess she doesn't want her daughter getting involved in the skank culture some of them like to jump into. My opinion is irrelevant here.
