I played a burning hair prank (hair straightener) on my girlfriend and she is mad and won't talk to me, I apologized but nothing, what can I do now?

So i told me girlfriend i was straighten her hair and so i had fake hair and pretended that i burned her off. She chased me to the bed and started punching lol. I told her it was a joke then she yelled at me saying how her hair is important... aftger she cooled off i showed her the fake hair, but she still won't talk to me.

Ok ladies do you value your hair that much? What else can i do now. (If you didn't see the prank, search it up on Youtube)

yeah it isn't funny at all, hair takes years to grow and for some girls its harder to maintain length than for others. my hair is very important to me I've spent the last 4 years growing it to a length im happy with and if i found out my boyfriend burned off my hair on purpose id feel really hurt and disrespected.

she either doesn't believe it was a prank or she doesn't care and is still mad at you over making her believe youd do that to her. i dont agree with her hitting you but i can understand why she's mad enough not to talk to you, you crossed a boundary with her,

i would apologise and say you'll never do it again and leave it at that. badgering her for forgivness will just annoy her more at this point but she will eventually come round and miss you if you back off for a week or 2

Hair is part of the human body. In a lot of places you can be charged for assault for cutting a girl's hair.

If hair wasn't important we wouldn't spend thousands of dollars a year on hair care products and salons.

Many girls spend loads of money, effort, and years trying to grow their hair longer.

Tell her you realise the importance and value of hair, that it is an extension of her body and it was disrespectful as even a joke. Right now your apology is empty.

And it's good that you feel that way! But you still really hurt her feelings. I say give her like two days and then message her saying you want to apologize for upsetting her and see if she's more receptive.

ok and why are you girls sooo emotional (not saying it in a mean way). Like sometimes even when me and my girlfriend watch movie and lets say someone dies she gets sad and lays her head on me and acts all sad. It's a fake movie lol
