most people I know dont like it but it is really fast to make so they do it out of time... I like it aslong as the penut butter doesn't get stuck onto my teeth
They are to you and me asker. Unfortunately in the same way that American chips are crisps to us, jam is actually called jelly in America. They have jam but it's something else.
Well preserves in this country must be different. Or google is wrong. But this was my knowledge of what a preserve is:
1. a foodstuff made with fruit preserved in sugar, such as jam or marmalade. "a jar of cherry preserve" synonyms: jam, jelly, marmalade, conserve, confection;
at the grocery... the Knotts Berry Farm Strawberry Jam sits right besides the Knotts Berry Farm Strawberry Preserves. also the preserves isn't nearly as thick, quite runny actually.
Jelly and jam are two different things in my book. Different textures and tastes but if ya don't believe me you can look it up. Trust me they're different.
That's different though, because tea is actually delicious, and apparently snails taste like chewing gum. But peanut butter and jam sandwiches are odd and overrated in my opinion

Maybe that's because you had it with jam and not grape jelly. It's quite delicious.
Jam just has the fruit pectin in it. Still taste great. But I make my own strawberry 😛
@akadatank44 It's still not the same, now is it? Haha.
Ahh no. 😛 similar tho. Jam just has the fruit in it. Like mused strawberries
Why do I like eating anything? Because it tastes nice *to me*.
I don't know I guess it's an iconic American food but I'm an American and I have to be in the mood for it to eat it.
If it's something you grew up with I guess it's just a taste that never tasted bad/weird
Jam and jelly are kinda different. With jelly its wayyyyyyyy better. Also yeah it's probably because we grew up with it.

i know omg they're so weird :P
i tried it too and I'm like 'wth is this?' 😂
I think it's an American thing. I don't like it either.
i don't care for jam.
i can indulge in some strawberry preserves though.
It's not the same thing?

they're different. in short, jam is a homogeneous mixture, but preserves is not.
@Hidden_P Jam uses whole fruit. Jelly uses only the juices
@ArtDent word. wasn't aware of that myself.

@ArtDent thank you for explaining the difference to me.
the most noticeable difference is jam is a consistent jelly.
preserves is like bits of strawberry strewn through out the jelly.
at the grocery... the Knotts Berry Farm Strawberry Jam sits right besides the Knotts Berry Farm Strawberry Preserves. also the preserves isn't nearly as thick, quite runny actually.
Yeah - it's the same thing.
I normally don't like it. I do like beans on toast though. And sometimes fried bread.
Because it is delicious! PBnJ is a classic. Easy to make and so damn good.
You have to put the right amount on for it to be really good.
Don't use jam. Use jelly. There's a big difference. Make sure it's grape jelly too!!
Jam over here is jelly in America
No. They're similar but they're ultimately two different things.
Tastes the same though. And everyone thinks of them as pretty much the same

Agree to disagree
Jelly goes in a trifle - would never eat peanut butter and jelly!
You have it all wrong peanut butter & jam is a Canadian thing.
Whats with the down vote? lol hahaaha
I dont know. Why do the English like tea so much? Why do the French like snails?
That's different though, because tea is actually delicious, and apparently snails taste like chewing gum. But peanut butter and jam sandwiches are odd and overrated in my opinion
that shit looks so gross and it probably tastes awful
That's because it is. Full of sugars and yuckness.
yea it's too mixed up and peanut butter and something sweet does not mix well. weird ass food ahah

Yes
Try peanutbutter with chocolade pasta that is great
Much sugar, many heart attack
but it's really tasty
Its good stuff thats why and have a glass of milk with it
It needs to be American peanut butter and Jelly for it to be any good. :D
Isn't it jam? Jelly with peanut butter sounds odd!
@FredNerk Actually it's jam that sounds odd with peanut butter, jam is way to thick!
