Should I get a GameStop gift card for my boyfriend for Christmas? (It's not the only gift)?

He really likes video games, but is it too boring? I don't know what games to get him so I thought I might as well get the gift card so he can pick. Also, Im getting him other presents so it's not like that's all he's getting

My boyfriend always liked GameStop cards. But he was boring so I'm not sure if it's the right move for everyone.
If you are getting him one, $75-100 is a good amount. That would allow him to get a console title at it's starting price if he's into that.
