Is the text crisis hotline free for metropcs?

been down for a very long time. today i feel really down and my anxiety is sky rocketed high. has been like this since morning and i even got sick and i'm not able to sleep i been going through a lot. i feel alone and i can't deal with being alone anymore i need a compassionate friend that is willing to comfort me other than give me some of their two cented opinions. that just hurts me more. i'm just wondering if it's free for metropcs? this is the snopes link http://www.snopes.com/crisis-text-line-741741/ The Crisis Text Hotline also notes in their FAQ that all text messages are anonymous and free, although charges may apply with carriers other than AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, or Verizon.

In a June 2015 article published by the Chicago Tribune, Nancy Lublin, the CEO of DoSomething. org, explained why she founded the Crisis Text Line:

it says this.. i sent "hello" to the number and i got a popup saying that it may charge me but i got scared and didn't end up sending anything. i don't pay for my phone bill so i don't want to text that number and have my phone bill over the price.. also don't want anyone knowing i texted a crisis hotline.
