Are girls more naive than guys by nature or nurture?

Question

Obviously when they're both babies, both are innocent but upon growing... it's usually the guy that's already streetsmart and into seduction games.

Hence why we're told the phrase of every guy trying to get into our pants during our HS years. Too many innocent, naive girls while the guy already have overall experience. Though, some of my friends think it would have been even if the girls were raised differently, that it's really nurture. I don't know. What do you think.

Yes to both, it's like economics. To a girl, guys have a value based on certain criteria, and the same ges both ways. This criteria varies from boy to boy and girl to girl. Take a boy who (where I live) is told from a young age that his very masculine qualities are bad and that he should be more like the girls, this happens starting first day of grade school and forms two main groups of guys that will chase you girls later.

In HS there are two major groups of guys chasing you: beta males who you dump fast despite many saying they want me of them, ember economics, the beta males are less valuable to you despite many saying otherwise. And alphas that know the girls are really attracted to them and thus have a high value to you, many of which know they will always have another easy target to take and dump. Now many good men just quit due to having masculinity attacked by all of society earlier in life, they just don't think the risk of a false rape accusation or a gold digger, or an ice queen is worth it when porn is cheaper and safer, to them girls are not economically smart investments.

Then there's me, I am not going to date in HS as I can't find a girl who is safe, most of them are taken by men who are players and I don't want her until she finally realises what she really wants and leaves the players, I won't date an anti male girl as I'm not a beta male, and I know I have lots of time to wait for girls to grow out of the childish phase where all they care about is themselves and their access to players power and start to understand that I'm actually a good catch as though I may be a tad bad at conversation, I'm not popular, but I'd gladly lay down my life if it meant protecting her while the men she goes after won't bother. You see I will wait or even go overseas to find a woman who will love me not for my social powers or my romance skills which are just as shallow as a guy who only looks for girls with boobs and blonde hair. You see I look long term and I'm not going to bend over backwards for access to your pants, if you and I don't match or you want a beta male I'll simply move on to the next candidate, I have decades to choose and I won't risk a gold digger or toxic parasite.

What most women don't see is that they only hurt themselves with this whole "I want a man to serve me, one to hump, and another to make me money" thing (I actually heard those exact words from one girl), I'm nobody's beta and I'm looking for a team mate, not a master.

Consider that the guys you have run into like to brag - they're really not that experienced.

OTOH, they will do whatever they can to get in your panties - that's the testosterone. Doesn't mean they have any experience. :)

See I've never really considered this a female thing. I find that the girls around me, including myself have no delusions about "the one". I find that some women and men kind of get sucked into the relationship with one person even though its not good for them, I know two of these people, one male, one female.

Both. Nature because women gravitate towards protection and security thus are looking for those traits which means she is probably more trusting once a guy seems to provide those things. Nurture because quite frankly we treat women way better then we do men, women we protect from everything even themselves men we expect them to learn the hard way that no one is their for them so they better smarten and toughen up. In fact studies show that even as infants male infants are allowed to "cry it out" when they are in distress and crying i. e. left on their own or have a delayed response to their cries, while female infants get near instant attention. This trains us differently, essentially the boy is taught from the first moments of life that he needs to be self reliant, that no one is going to help him and he better learn to deal with things on his own and girls are shown that some one will always be their to help and/or save them. This thus creates trust in women that every one else is out their ready to help them, and distrust in men as they are taught that no one is going to help them so if some one is acting in that way they are immediately more suspicious of their motives then women are.

Girls are naturally way more trusting, naive, and gullible. Girls tend to take everything at face value, girls confuse appearances with reality, and the way most girls are raised only makes it worse for them.

But what really contributes to HS heartbreak is not the fact that girls are more gullible, it's that almost all girls are busy chasing after only 10% of guys, the ones who are the most attractive and popular.

So basically there's hundreds of girls at your school all clawing each other's eyes out to be with Hot Chad, the hottest guy in school, who gets pussy thrown at him daily, and 99% of those girls would rather lose and go home heartbroken than get with one of the other hundreds of guys who are standing off to the side watching this all unfold.

That's how come girls are all heartbroken, not because they're "naive."

Because boys figure out REAL QUICK that some guys get all the pussy while most get absolutely nothing, ever. And no matter which category any given man may fall into, it's just hard to have any respect for girls when you see how their base animal lusts control them. So the guy who gets all the girls has no respect for girls, because they're all cheap and easy and free, he doesn't even have to ask most of the time. And the guys who get no girls have no respect for them either, because they see which guys DO get all the girls and quickly realize that if they were taller and more handsome, the girls would all be worshiping them instead.

Either way, it's pretty hard to have any respect for girls when they act like animals following a herd instinct.

I do not know as a whole, but basically a good 90% of all the women I have met in my life, are completely oblivious and innocent.
Which is not a bad thing, but it can lead to bad situations.
Girls sending guys pictures thinking its innocent, when really it sparks interest in men and most men will interpret that as a sign that you are attracted to them.

I could go on all day about situations like that, but frankly there are too many.

Now to the opposite side, very few of the women I have met in my life have true, pure common sense. They know what people are like and what they usually think. They themselves think very hard about their actions before they commit to it.

I definitely think it's nurture. Instead of being raised to accept the harsh reality of being a human being, girls are often indoctrinated with the idea that they're a princess and will find their sweet prince. That indoctrination is why I think too many girls are so naive to believe that any boy they meet will be perfect and never hurt them.

Absolutely biological. Girls are taking less risks (= which results in less negative learning experiences), are more inclined to be submissive, are more reliant on guys protection (due to physical differences), are more emotionally swayable, have a harder time seperating logic and emotions, etc.

Society is build on biological reality. It is just the result and possibly amplifies of what has already been there.
