Do women judge men on what they drive?

OK ladies I'm 21, graduated high school and went directly to work. My parents split when I was 10 and my Father moved to Europe and my mom became an alcoholic. Rough, but true. I didn't have a college fund, so I went to work on the oilfields right after I completed high school. So To my question, I have been working since I was 17, and realistically my wage is 7800$ a month give or take a few hundred. When I first got out to the working world I had my old 1986 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 I fixed up in high school. It ran like a top and went everywhere, but it was pricey on fuel. I sold it in 2007. With that truck, the Preppy girls I knew wouldn't even consider riding in it or giving me a second glance. I fress well, am well groomed, I'm 6´foot 3 and do lots of hard work so I'm in excellent shape. But I had girls say "I'm not riding in that thing". I bought a newer truck after I sold the old chevy, a Bright Yellow Short Box Step Side F150 Super Cab 4x4. And all of a sudden all the preppy girls who wouldn't take a second look at the Farmboy with the old Chevy seemed to be a lot more friendly. Now my dream is to save up enough money for University, as my grades are good enough. And my end goal is to open a successful Restoration, Customisation and Performance Auto Shop that does everything from Restoring old 55 Chevys to Building Turbo Lamborghinis. Autosports are a big passion of mine, I race on the track all the the time and attend car shows regularly. Now here's the real kicker. I bought a Toyota Supra Turbo, like the orange car of the First Fast and Furious if no one knows what I'm talking about, because It was my dream car. Its a car that if you know how to WORK on them, can eat up and spit out the 500,000$ Ferraris and leave the guido driving it wondering how in the hell he just got beat by a Toyota. After I bought that car, I literally had so much female drama from girls wanting to be with me, and sometimes even fighting over me that it was getting ridiculous. I live in a small town, so that may have something to do with it. But a lot of my guy friends started hating me. But do young women really care about flashy cars as much as it seems?
