Why are conservatives so hung up on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

I mean, the woman spouts a lot of BS on some issues, but the right-wingers are acting like it is the apocalypse. She is a freshman house member from a traditionally liberal district, but they seem to hang on her every word as if she is about to be crowned queen. I guess this is where the term "reactionary" comes from. The idiots are only inflating her stature with their personal attacks and moronic slanders.

because people voted for her, regardless of her bat shit crazy ideas or lack thereof. It's scary to see her so ignorant of economics (a degree she supposedly earned), yet gaining a lot of support from voters. Is it because she's young? A woman? Or arguably attractive? Because it sure as hell isn't because her political ideas are good for the country. But those 3 reasons I listed above, are no reason to vote someone into office. Republics keep talking about her because they want to make sure everyone hears the things this woman is actually saying. It's beyond ridiculous and shouldn't be ignored.

The fact that she's the youngest female ever elected to Congress made her a national figure. The fact that she doesn't take anyone's bullshit and actually fires back at her detractors made her a national figure.
