How tf does a car catch on fire in the rain?

Water isn't good at putting out a fire. You have to suffocate it. As for how it happens in the rain, it's probably an electrical or fire caused by ignited gasoline. That is also internal and has nothing to do with the outside of the car that is being touched by the water. As a result, the fire is not affected because it is covered, yet given oxygen and fuel to grow.
One, the car is enclosed from the rain. So all the flammable materials are covered. Two if it’s fuel was on fire then the rain wouldn’t put it out. Only way to stop a gas fire is to completely smother it.
This literally happened to my parents car when i was a kid we were inside a restaurant n it caught on fire while we were in there... my dad was upset cause he lost a grocery bag of snickers. It was a crappy old car but hey they were young
Gasoline fires aren’t put out by rain, it just spreads it.

probably an electrical fire and then the heat of the interior or engine bay burning is enough to counter a bit of rain... did you know that one of the worlds most dangerous jobes is welding oil and gas rigs on the sea bed. physics is your friend lol
Easy. A short in the wiring, and the batter pumps enough electricity through the wire to heat it to the point of causing a fire.
The rain isn't enough to cool it down or smother it enough to stop the fire. The fire in that picture looks like it's inside the car, where the rain won't even bother it.
There are different classes of fire...
You probably didn't ever sit down and try to understand how a gasoline engine works...
Simple explained, all in the car which can burn is covered from the rain... so, a little drop gasoline and a spark is enough
Rain will t do much to stop a chemically induced fire. A car has many plastics , fuels, and other liquids that will catch fire and burn just fine - rain or no rain.
Struck by lightning, electrical short there are tons of chemicals that start fires when reacted with water but that looks like it started in the cab then the heat broke the windows
Overheated component, bad cooling
short circuit, one that shorted because of the rain
Fuel line or pump likely. Or even an electrical fire. Give it up man, shit happens.
Ok granps my bad I just ain’t never seen shit like that happen in the rain 😒
A little water has zero affect on chemical, flammables, or electrical fires.
Lol fires caused by inflammable materials such as gasoline in a car can't be put off by water
I prayed onto the holy father, to bless me with fire. The holy god parted skies and said 'yeet', and made it rain. But he got confused and performed a miracle nobody wanted
because they fire started inside the car where it is protected from the rain.
Simple: the part that's burning is covered from the rain.
You will probably find that it wasn't raining inside the car where the fire is.
The outside of a car is not what catches fire. Think about it.
It’s probably an electrical fire where water only strengthens it.
Gasoline is flammable and very hard to put out!
fuel leak and an electrical short
someone dropped their cigarette
Magic
"I SET FIREEEEEE TO THE RAIN"
there's a roof ontop the car
Maybe it was an electrical fire
The same way it does not in the rain.
fuel leak under the bonnet
Geez Louise. 🤦🏼♀️
