Have You Ever Helped A Stranger? If So, How?

I was approached by a young man who said he needed help getting back to his home town. I won't tell you the town but it was a few states away. His family was in some form of emergency and didn't have the funds to get there and because of the emergency, they couldn't send the funds either. He showed what money he had, about $70, but needed an additional $150 for the ticket. So, while wondering if this was a scam or not I decided it wasn't because he did come up with $70. I drove him to Greyhound, bought the ticket for him instructing him to hold on to his money and even put another $100 in his pocket. I've never seen or heard from that young man again but I think he was being honest and I'm glad I did what I did.
I was going somewhere on a bus in puyallup wa. I blind man was asking how to get to social security office. Having just been there I knew hed never find it. So I got off and led him into the place. As we walked I learned hed been blinded as a result of a mugging and every so many years he had to go in to social security and show them he was still blind
wow!
When I was 17, I had a job at the mall to have people take surveys. This little boy was wandering around the mall alone so I kept him and had him sit down next to me so no one would try to take him and a mall cop cane over to find out what to do with the kid. Two older boys said that the little kid was their cousin. When I asked them his name, they didn’t know it. I asked them that the kid is supposedly their cousin but they didn’t know his name? Luckily the parents came back in for their child.
This is the only deed that stood out to me because there was a little boy who was kidnapped and killed by two older boys in the UK
wow! good thing the boy had a truly amazing person there to help him..
Thanks!
very very sad what happened to the other boy though

I help someone on daily basis, I give money or food to homeless, I help elderly people if they have some difficulties, I give some love to kitties or dogs if I am going for a walk...
I got fired to help a lady who fainted in front of the shop I was working. I went out to assist her. I refuse to go inside the shop until the ambulance arrived. She was falling sleep, that's very dangerous and you should keep the person awake. I got fired yeah but I helped that lady
A guy was having (I think) an overdose. No one was helping him. A cop finally helped me to call an ambulance (I needed to hold the guy becasue he almost went into the road). This is the day I don't know if that guy made it. I still can see his eyes totally gone.
wow you seem like a really kind, genuine person!
and thanks for posting your comments

When I went to school once a girl walking in front of me dropped a 5€ note without noticing, I picked it up and gave it back to her

yes. it was my job for 7 years in a hospital. and still part of my job now.
well thank your for your service
I helped a elderly woman crossing the street (after I gave her some money because she had a lame leg) and another elderly woman who needed to sit
good on you!
Yes, there was guy hitchhiking with a flat tire. He couldn't speak English, but I gave him a ride to a gas station. I actually did this another time as well, with two guys in the same situation.
Just for future reference, that wasn’t the best option.
By lifting her you may have further damaged her back, if it was damaged during the accident.
(I was an EMT.)
Yes, but nothing really extraordinary, things like helping a woman getting her stroller on the bus for example.
