When I was 18 I was serving this cute guy at Dunkin Donuts I took $50 from him and forgot to give him his change back my cheeks felt hot I was blushing. I was smiling like an idiot when he asked me for his change back so I gave him and apologise, his smile is like he’s trying hard not to laugh at my mistake. It was so awkward and embarrassing

Every time I came close to catching some kind of feelings for a customer, I remember two things. One, they wouldn't like me back (I deal with VERY low self-esteem and pessimism). Two, Every customer is an asshole to me until proven otherwise. I tried before to think of everyone as nice, and then two weeks at Kroger proved me wrong.
