Very old cemeteries are quite interesting but if you want that uneasy feeling I suggest visiting a pet cemetery. I'm not sure if it's the tiny head stones marked "fluffy age 8" or the thought of the owners going to so much trouble over a cat that creeps me out.
Stephen King made them freaky
Love cemeteries
been to some really impressive ones and some really old ones,
creepy we have a lot of around here as some are from 100’s years ago.
also been to load of WW1 battle field cemeteries and visited old battle fields, now that makes your hairs stand up.
also have done a number of ghost paranormal stuff at cemeteries.
And other stuff
We also have some nice woodland burial sites as well.
Which is different to our normal old cemeteries

They are also really handy places for sex.
Obviously not with the occupants lol.
No one really investigates groans n moans from a graveyard lol
Nah. There just sad, interesting or fun depending on what i am doing there. Fun be like drinking and hanging in a cemetery. Interesting and sad be reading people's graves, people i've never met but still there story is told or it isn't sometimes there is little left but still makes me think.
No, they're really peaceful places. There is a cemetery close to where I live, and I go there often, just to look at the names on the tombstones. Cemeteries are places that restore proper priorities and perspectives, that jolt you back to the reality that no matter what you do during your time on earth, it will eventually all end here.

Nah they acutally make me feel safe for some weird reason
Honestly cemeteries feel more sacred to me than churches do. There's a certain energy and peace that can be found.
With that said there is only one cemetery I've never gotten that vibe from. Don't know why but I refuse to get anywhere close to it. It's not a creepy thing just a hell no thing.
No, actually just visited one this Sunday. Drove by and saw, stopped in to read a few stones with my boyfriend. we also visited one in New Orleans.
I find it interesting to know a little about the history.
I don’t watch scary movie for that exact reason. Turns some nice things to s story.
I also like think snakes are really cool.. many fear them
No, generally they don't scare me. I don't believe in ghosts or anything, so there's not a lot to be afraid of. I wouldn't be happy to spend a night there though, especially not at an old one without any lights, because I'd be a bit afraid that I could meet some creep.
For the most part they do not creep me out. During one of my times being homeless, I actually slept in one because most people will not step foot in a cemetery at night. However, there is ONE cemetery that I cannot step foot in. Anytime I go in there, everything feels evil around me. Every time I've attempted to visit this cemetery, I've been injured somehow. I'm not a clutz so this was weird.
Cemeteries are really cool especially the older ones dating really far back. On the other hand Do You Know Why Cemeteries Have Fences Around Them? Because people are dying to get in.
That sound reminds me of Debbie Downer from Saturday Night Live. https://youtu.be/Aek_t8GT6bg
During the spring, summer, and fall months I can be found in several cemeteries taking pictures for FindAGrave. com. as well as for my own project of laying flowers, posting a marker and a flag on my Coast Guard and Lifesaving Servicemen and women. I take care of 400 graves.
Cemeteries are a place that requires a certain level of respect. You need to enter it with the presence of mind that you with be respectful to everything within. I consider entering one in the middle of the night or taking dirt from a cemetery to be disrespectful and whatever happens to you after doing that is on you.
I enjoy going for a stroll through cemeteries, any type since there are different ones. I've done some paranormal investigations in them, very interesting ✌️
Not until I actually went to one there's nothing creepy about cemeteries but very depressing to see a loved one being lowered into their grave it doesn't creep you out when you have feelings related to the place if anything it's peaceful just cold air blowing in a quiet place.
They don't creep me out at all. If I were to find myself in a cemetery at night, I'd be a bit scared but that's mostly because of the added element of darkness.
Some alive people creep me out and scare me. Cemeteries no. There is no reason to be scared of the ones who eternally sleep.
Those who are live among us are the scary ones.
What's to be creeped out about? The faithful departed should be appreciated and revered.
just death and dead bodies can creep some people out... or at least the used to.
Nope. I used to bicycle home through a cemetery at night, in the dark.
I wanted the exercise so I would bicycle to this group I met with instead of driving because it was close enough. About 30 minutes each way.
At might they may be more scary, but by day they are mostly just sad. Sometimes the dates of death (too young, or a particular war or other tragic situation) tell a sad story in and of themselves.
I live right beside an old Catholic cemetery in the woods, grew up beside it, so nope doesn't bother me. I sometimes takes walks and just sit on the bench and read there. I find it very peaceful.
I spent a lot of time visiting war grave cemetery sites as a teenager. I was fascinated in the world war one cemeteries to see how extremely young the soldiers were - youngest I found was 13. It was difficult to see them.
I was born across the street from a cemetery. And I’m not afraid of dead things (even though I have a strong dislike towards it) . I respect that they left their earthly bodies behind, and that it’s nothing but an empty shell of something that was once full of life. To me , cemeteries are empty for that reason , I’m only afraid of the weirdos that lurk their at night.
Yes they do. I know death is natural and it happens to all of us, but cemeteries are still a scary place for me.
I can see a cemetery from my living room window.
No, they're a neat place to hang out in. I kinda feel at home there tbh. But I'm also the kind of person who would spend the night in a haunted house for fun so.. 🤷♀️
I'm pretty macabre and love cemeteries. The ones in Nola are beautiful. Standing next to an oven crypt can be a bit weird, knowing many bodies fit in the crypt, but it's cool There's so much history in a cemetery.
I would be uncomfortable going alone at night but otherwise no
They do, especially the above ground ones.
Just burn me on a pyre.
I like them - it makes me feel peaceful that people are still remembered after they die.
Nah, I'm not afraid of the dead that much. It's the living that are scary and that we should be wary of.
They used to when I was little. Back before I moved, I used to jog around a commentary every other day and it was the most relaxing part of the route.
fucking autocorrect. Cemetery.
Ehh not really I mean our cemetery is actually pretty nice and upkept. I'm sure if I was in a old creepy one that was poorly maintained It'd probably be creepy to be in it.
Love them.
I don’t believe in ghosts or much of the supernatural so I always hope to see something and change my views. So far nothing.
I remember when I was in 2nd grade. Our school picnic was organized in the school graveyard (convent school). Had a lot of fun.
Not really but I feel sad for those who have left and I remember that life is too short n I can die anytime
Doesn't exactly creep me out. I just find them very, very sombre and depressing. Death is sad.
Reminds me of when I was 17-18 me and a few friends had a standing Friday night beerfest at the grave of someone named Giovanni. Only one with that name in the graveyard. So we kept them company for a few beers.
I do genealogy as a hobby, so often I have to visit cemeteries to get info off the headstone or take pictures for someone else. I’ve been to nice cemeteries and I’ve been to very old, run down cemeteries. They don’t bother me a bit.
No. I like them. I don't feel so alone when there...
Not really. I pass a cemetery every day on the way ro work
Not at all. Cemeteries are quite and peaceful, and there are seldom any children hanging around.
Not at all. Mausoleums leaking human remains can get weird though.
No, but I do find them disgusting from an environmentalist point of view.
It requires a lot of cleared out space.
No I seek them out and when I travel I have an urge to visit them. There mostly stone gardens.
I don't feel uneasy when I'm there during the day but my city's cemeteries are said to be very creepy at night.
Nope, went to visit Moms grave almost fell, told her I loved her
No, they are just big plots of land with big stones sticking up out of the ground.
I may be scared alone in darkness just because of general creepiness but not otherwise as I do not believe in ghosts or zombies as such.
They don't creep me out in a ghost or spooky kind of way, they creep me out in a "there's lots of dead people underneath this ground" kind of way.
sometimes i get really cheeped out most of the time i don't
No, they make me feel at peace, even though I don't want to be buried, but maybe it's the lingering feeling of death that comforts me.
Of course, all graveyards are technically haunted. But if one has a history that's messed up enough, that's the deterrent for me.
They used to till my hubby passed..
Do you ever go there from time to time to visit?
Yes I do
they don't scare me because even if the dead come back to life, my muscles and bones aren't rotted and brittle, at any given time I am the most dangerous thing in a graveyard on my own.
No to me it is one of the most peaceful places to be.
No effect. Maybe cuz my scientific learnin’ taught me decrepit decomposed bodies can’t hurt me.
No. Because you can pick off valuable metals off grave stones.
No. Its more of a place where i would chill though.
Oh and i use to work here
No, they just make me sad. I know many who have passed
No unless my son brings up something he saw recently that will most likely spook me out
Nope. I'm fascinated by them.
C. No, I find them rather peaceful.
I live across from one so no
Thought provocative for sure
Thanks for like!
Nope
