Do you think Catholic statues or saints are creepy or creep you out?

I'm a former Catholic growing up my parents were Catholic religious fanatics in my former life in my childhood Catholic was a life style yes I was raised Catholic but I hate it especially those creepy statues that feels like they follow you with their eyes. My cousin who I am very close with she was 26 at the time I was 14 years old long time ago we attended this mass a distant cousin of ours decided to be a nun so we attend the ceremony because we had no choice it was expected by our parents to attend the ceremony. Now I sat next to my cousin and this church had huge big statues that just seem to have this blank stare straight at us, My cousin and I we look at each other creep out after the ceremony ended we were at the Cathedrals garden that's when my cousin ask me if I felt that creepy chills from these statues , No kidding I got chills on my spine. I told her I did. So It wasn't just me. My cousin also confirmed to me that she felt a creepy chilling scary vibe from these religious statues saints. Sadly my cousin still continues attending the Catholic religious just to please her parents. I am wonder if any one here has had a similar experience or feels the creepy vibe from these State.
