To answer your questions, well yes kind off. I want to ask questions regarding pets and there isn't a specific category for them. So, I put them under 'Family and Friends' because they're like a family to me.
Meanwhile, you can post them in 'other' category. 'Other' category is the one that has the most random and interesting questions on this site.
Furthermore, the lack of availability of a topic shouldn't stop you from asking the questions. The main purpose of having a specific topic is to give users the choice to follow the topic (if they like it) and more importantly to block the topic (if they find such questions annoying).
Yeah that would be awesome. There would be plenty of content too. Just recently, they discovered a particle which can switch states between matter and antimatter. They have also just confirmed the discovery of a new dinosaur from Australia which was the length of two busses and as high as a B-double. Australotitan.
It’s an interesting idea but I doubt they will implement it cause this is supposed to be a dating instruction website but I post in the “other” category when I have questions about things that do not fall into typical categories. A surprisingly high number of users here are pet owners. Nature questions might fall into health and fitness if you are asking about hiking gear or vacation preparation health questions.
No, there is already an education & career one, and it’s one of the least used ones on here. let’s be honest, most of the people on here are not particularly well educated.

You could, but the typical gag users are here because this place focuses on relationships, sex and vanity basically.
They can ask ridiculous things here and It's not heavily moderated.
There's lots of other question and answer sites where they discuss politics and other educational topics all day.

I was thinking just the same thing a few days ago. They have a category for flirting, but for stuff that's actually interesting like science and nature, there's nothing. Very bizarre.
I would probably share my opinion on questions in that category though I am not inclined to lobby for such a category as I do already share my opinion on a wide variety of subjects.

Yeah great subjects. You can always start some up. But most people are not here for that. And the feed doesn't seem to show everything either.
