I love great Danes hint goofballs

I don't mean to, because I love dogs, but I'm going to be a downer here.
I used to have favorite dog breeds, mainly Brittanys and English Setters.
As I've gotten older, I've come to believe that dog breeding is not a very good idea in general.
Not all, but most dog breeds no longer serve the purpose for which they were developed in the first place.
Many breed attributes were developed just to see how far someone could go with an absurd trait, such as the smashed noses of the bulldog type breeds, to the detriment of the health of those breeds.
All of this has promoted severe health problems in almost all breeds, in my opinion.
So, while I still do find particular breeds to be beautiful, cute, funny, useful for a particular purpose, or attractive for any number of reasons, I'm no longer a fan of dog breeding.
Which begs the question, of course, "Would I want a wolf as a pet?"
Of course not, it just seems that dog breeding got way out of hand.
I don't know where to say that I think it should have ended.
I've thought about the subject, but haven't come up with an answer that satisfies me yet.
The overly loving type that likes to lick faces and get's all exited with basically any human!
I'm not picky. I love all of them. Especially the friendly ones, I'd give away my last meal to them. For a cynic , they sure turn me a sweetheart with their warmth. Wish I could have a pet.
I am an all dog lover. But if I had to choose one breed it would be Rottweiler.
They are loyal
Playful
Funny
Protective
Sensitive
And beautiful

I actually came to love the Chihuahua as a teen. Wasn't my top choice (my mother's) and I heard the stereotype of them as yappy dogs but the one I had was really nice. Old photo from around 27 years ago:

He was also unbelievably smart. I had dogs before him and it took ages just to teach them some drinks. He learned over 15 tricks in one day, including very difficult ones like walking on two feet across the entire room and giving me a high-five. I was amazed since before it took me a long time just to teach a dog how to shake.
On the big side, I like the Huskies although I never got to own one, like Mishka:

Yellow Labrador.
I had one when I was a boy.
He was big.
He got up to 105 lbs.
He was fast. I got him to chase me in the car. He topped out at 30 MPH for just a little while, a few seconds.
He was smart and good natured.
When I joined the military my mom took him for a walk and he killed the mayor's cat.
She gave him away...😩
Akita is the one i pick at this current moment as i have seen the movie Hachi it brings tears to my eyes how well that dog was behaved though im sure there was training involved but the story makes me want a dog like that for they show much support and care to their master/owner and that is showing some love!
Black mouth cur! (the one at the middle is my dog) they are all purpose and they look so sad.

Samoyed! 100%. Who can't like these floofy, beautiful and eternally young looking dogs (whose pups look like small little bears 🥺)
This should be a poll. I choose siberian huskys.
Black labs. Every one I have ever met has had a wonderful temperament.
I like black Pug dogs and want one and want to call him Puggles.
I also adore Staffies.
A Staffie once farted in my face when I picked it up to sit with me on the couch.
The winds of change were indeed blowing.
Tie St. bernards and bull mastiff
although I’m more of a cat person
One time when I was little I found a puppy and decided to take it home with me I assumed it was a mutt but when I got to the house my guardian screamed at me and told me to put it out I didn’t think she would freak out that much over a little puppy and when I asked why she said that wasn’t a dog it was a coyote 😳😂😂

Border Collies. Very loyal and intelligent. Needs loads or exercise.
German Shepard and Rotties.
Had a German Shepherd mixed with Collie.
Best watch dog ever! She loved to hunt groundhogs with me. Also she was my buddy.
A Newfoundland dog.
My neighbour has a Great Dane Doberman breed. Basically a pony. If I wasn’t scared of dogs, he’d be my option.

Golden Retriever. I had one when I was little. He was the best.

I love the mother plain white beagle!
Because maybe many years ago, I dreamt of it. It hugged me when it sticked to me. <3 :}
Cat. But there is also a sort of sheep dog I don't see here that I kind of like.
I'm a big fan of the Korean jindo. Beautiful and loyal af
Mastiff, I only a masstiff Rottie mix and she's the coolest dog ever.

Turkish Kangal.
My very favorite dog is a Husky. My next favorite is a Havawart. They are smart, energetic, protective and also stubborn.
So many. Greyhounds Rottweilers Doberman pincher’s German Shepherd’s labradors Shetland sheep dogs etc. etc.
My oldest friend had a chou. Thought those looked cool

Yeah these dogs
I love dogs but we can't have pitbulls where I'm at. Animal control are fully authorized to put them down and the local trigger Happy authorities are also fully authorized to any use necessary and lethal force is authorized on them if spotted during their patrols.
Chihuahua

Greyhounds are sweet. Cocker Spaniels are sweet dogs. Nothing beats Chihuahuas
All except dogs with bad owners that show aggression.
It's a tie between German Shepherd and Husky for me
The only dog that my wife and I ever owned for more than one day, was a partially trained Samoyed. Very quiet and well behaved
The silent ones, if it doesn't bark, whine or growl. I have much better tolerance of them.
I absolutely love german shepherds and groenendaels!
Jack Russell Terrier and german shepards... but otherwise my sisters dog "mr Rex" he is best for rough play-not too small, not too fragile, active and sporty enough.
Anything friendly, playful. Not too small not too big. Less shading.
It would be either the Dutch Shepard/German Shepard and the Xoloitzcuintle. (Try pronouncing that jajaja)
Dalmatians as my ex and daughter have one.
Spotty and totally crazy with huge amounts of energy.
Whereas I’ve sort of been adopted by a neighbours cat lol.
I like the Maltese which looks like a bishon.
The one from the White Fang
Also huskies
I love my Blue Tick Hound.
Huskies and Dobermans.
Huskies are closest to wolves, and have great personalities. All the rest are just "wanna-bees"
Border Collies and Labradors.
Golden Retriever
Rotweilers, German Shepard’s, husky’s
The video about the dog having a bigger brain than it’s head, lol. And the one with a smaller heart than it’s body could take.. ok so let me get this straight… It’s best to breed dogs whom are as far apart as possible biologically. I can believe that. Doesn’t human incest cause genetic problems? Like dwarfism?
Ah this is oh so complicated. Like now I’m gonna wanna get my future girl dogs’ future boyfriend a cat scan before I consider letting them mate lol..
Oops.. that’s for @Ad_Quid_Orator
Like I think the same size brain, same size heart, and the same height are important lol
If they’re different breeds. Just similar qualities.
Pit bulls, German shepherds, Rottweilers
I have a pure German Shepherd
in the mornings, instead of barking at passersby, I bet he loudly exclaims: "GUTEN TAG!"
@have_a_good_day he howls a lot sadly
Yeah but that's just the German way of shouting : "HOWLS Y'ALL DOING?"
before he exclaims : "GUTEN TAG"
@have_a_good_day haaa
ayyyyyy *finger guns*
@have_a_good_day yay
I love the douche bag point and shoot
Bruh 🙆♀️ I'm gonna make finger guns cool again. Just you wait and see 😎 pew pew

Golden Retriever
Pugs do funny things and always make me laugh.

Akita, Siberian husky, shitzu mixed with yorki
Border Collie, German Shepherd and Dobermann.
@Jurinep Border Collie is considered the smartest of all dog breeds.
