My ex boyfriend owes me over $1000 and I doubt I'm the only women he has scammed and stolen from. He wanted to take over half of my future business and at some point kept pressuring about my father's living will. I thought that was weird.

He acted like one of those cruel women that wants to drain a man's hard working money. I can fully understand why more men are afraid of committing to us, afraid of the legal and money issues. He knew my family are wealthy than his and wanted to do that with me. This shocked me to be honest.

I can still sue him but it'll take too long and he won't pay back everything. My psychologist told me to just forget about it.
Too many men are nowadays afraid of committing and settling down (understandable) and there is me... someone that never steal money from anyone... yet I trusted him and he stole from me.

It's bad, but what's worse is stealing a person's time and dreams by lying, pretending to want something serious while all along just wasting time.

Indeed. Tell me about it. Even though I've blocked him, moved on and currently dating someone else (doing better too), it doesn't take away that he took so much from me.
Things he took away from me:
- My overall innocence (I had little to no streetsmarts at the time, was trusting, was also a virgin)
- My time I wasted in trying to defend his character againt my mother's accusations. He made me believe he was innocent and that my mother was crazy to hate him for no reason.
- A great portion of my youth and years I'll never get back
- My dreams of getting married and have a family like the old days, to be with him till growing old (he lied about wanting kids and marriage)

He would've only married me after becoming a successful businesswoman and him draining all my fertile years... marrying me for wealth and not for love nor having kids.

yeah it left a bitter taste in my mouth to learn that even our friendship wasn't real either. He used me for friendship, then to be his girlfriend, then for emotions, sex and money. I believe I've stumbled into a very nasty, cruel, evil man.

I'm glad you found another guy. Maybe things will work out with him and you can forget about wasting all your time and emotions on that other guy. You still have time, and can build a relationship with a good man.

Thank you and yes hopefully things work out. Everything is looking good so far; we've both introduced our families. My parents (this time my mom is happy for me) and friends like him. His mother and sister like me.

Yes it would've been worse if I had marry him. I've blocked and blacklisted him permanently. My family has done the same, he has become the most hated guy in their eyes.

I think what makes it more disgusting is he never had real feelings for me (even our initial friendship was a lie, he faked it all) and probably wasn't even too attracted to me; that hurt my own ego as a woman, as a person. He was just after the money. He would've only marry him for wealth and money and not for having kids.
