For sure when it starts to look like this, as we have a lot of non paved dirt/mud roads here, it doesn't take much to get really dirty.

Always fun at automatic car washes, hey it didn't get it all clean.
@t-8900 Tinted windows are legally restricted, but mud isn't... so lots of guys drive around covered in mud in their trucks, SUVs.
I am a like, if I can't touch the door to open without getting muddy, time to wash it good.
It can rain mud around too, happens a lot, just last week... light rain storm that barely rained but got dust out of the air and covered everything with mud, houses and cars... hope you don't get mud storms much.
@t-8900 It is usually higher up, but yeah I tend to have a bandana wrapped on my face when its real dusty. A lot of times though the dust is higher above us, in the sky... not ground level.
Costs me $8 to wash my car at this mexican automatic wash. But it's white and only has the blood of bugs I hit.
So i ain't that worried about washing it that often.

Like never but gonna have to do it soon since my car is covered in pollen. It's white but starting to look like I painted it yellow 😂
I don’t own a car (yet). Speaking of owning cars, are vans relatively cheap? Like, compared to a car that you’d get for your 18th birthday or something, is it expensive? I think vans are so cool, it’s like an RV, but it’s better because it’s small meaning there’s a lower chance of it falling over and there’s enough space to call it your bedroom, it’s the perfect land vehicle. But, if I did own a vehicle of some sort, I’d probably just wash it whenever it needs to get washed. I’m not germaphobic, but I do like clean environments like any normal person, but I mean, cleaning your car? It can’t possibly get so bad to where you need to do it more than 6 times in 4 weeks. At that point you might as well get it fixed or something because there’s probably a busted headlight. Honestly though, I don’t exactly see too many situations where a van is exactly necessary. It would be really cool but I mean, it’s not like I’d live in it. I could camp out in there, but….. no one does that.. who does that? Eh I don’t know…
I've had a car since I was 16 and a half I think I've only had one of my cars to wash maybe twice in the same day because there was a baked sale going on for school I wash my own car I wash my own truck I used to wash my motorhome I used to wash my boat used to wash my dirt bike I got two arms thank God and I like to wash my vehicle I like to mow my lawn I like the vacuum
And at the same time that doesn't mean that tomorrow they'll have a bake sale at school someplace and they'll do car washes I like cookies LOL
I drive my motorcycles about 95% of the time, so my truck gets driven pretty rarely. So rarely, in fact, that it would be FILTHY every time I went to drive it (once a month or less), so I finally went ahead and bought a cover for it.

Now, I probably wash it 3-4 times a year, if that. I go to the same gas station car wash, which sells me a code good for multiple washes, and there's some deal like I get a bonus wash for paying for three up front. The other thing is my truck is white, so it doesn't look dirty that easy like it would if it were a black truck.
Once a year, right before its MOT inspection, just to try and give the impression that it's a well maintained vehicle, still as good as the day it rolled off the production line. Obviously, the second they get it on the lift and see the state of it underneath, that illusion is going to be shattered, but still...
When we are set to go out. That day, in the morning, the car gets cleaned.
The regular one is always clean, but the big one is not used that many times, so we put cover on it. And when required, clean the cover, let it dry, remove it from the car, and then clean the car too and then take off.
A couple of times a year, more if I'm driving it in winter. They don't salt the roads here, so I'm not so worried about salt-induced corrosion. If you live in a place where they use salt for ice removal, then have it washed frequently, or at least rinse it off.
I used to wash and wax my first truck (as a teen) three times a week…. This year the thick dirt was washed off my poor boy, by the only second day of torrential rain we’ve had this year.. couple days ago. He’s now shiny again. He needs a wax.
I wash my car once a week, but I do full detail wash and interior cleaning once a month, that includes waxing the exterior and shampooing/conditioning interior.
oh wow im not blocked by you anymore.. cool
you sure did/ long time ago. i would see your questions pop up and when i'd try to answer it would say i was blocked.
yes i mass invite everyone i follow to my questions
Every week, I schedule the auto detailer to come on Thursday afternoons because that’s when the. Lawncare people come, so the jeep is usually covered in leaves and grass clippings! Perfect time to wash it!
I run my work van through a car wash about every other month, and hand wash it about twice a year. I don't drive my car much so I don't have to wash it very often.
Last year I got a new Sierra and I also have a dog that I take w/me everywhere and he sheds, so I wash that at least once a month. My old Ram and my husband's Denali.. sometimes?
Twice a month, because I get it waxed too.
If it was possible I’d get it done 1x a week. Another big factor is where you keep your car—in the garage or outdoors. The pollen does not miss!
It rains so much I don't have too lol
I don't do car washes, I hand wash my car with microfiber towels because the spinny things at a carwash can scratch paint, I prefer doing it right myself
I live on a dirt road and drive a truck we get some snow and lots of rain. I at least try and wash it off weekly and wash myself or car wash once a month.
Daily i don't wash it myself I have a person who does this
You pay them?
Yes obviously
Well it could have been a relative..
Not so obvious really
Oh okay but no one would do it in India it is considered as a menial job
Every two weeks, less if it rains.
The man who tends our garden also washes mine and my wife's cars, he's a real 360 degrees handyman!
During the winter and raining season probably every other day. During the summer, probably twice a week
At the moment it's an unwinnable battle against mud spray. If I don't keep on top I'm sure plants will take root.
My personal car maybe every three weeks, or when I get a Round Tuit. Business vehicles at least once a week, and detailed on a schedule.
Depends. I live in Australia and back roads and dust and muddy paths, then definitely a wash straight after. Otherwise, once every couple weeks.
After a huge snowstorm due to the rock salt. maybe 6 times a year, we get a lot of rain, so it is a waste
I don't have a car but if I did I would wash it once every two weeks.
It all depends on the weather & how dirty the roads are, Some times once a week. Other times it can go for a month before I wash it. Usually every couple of weeks.
I don't like to waste money so I only wash when need be. Simple. Sometimes I take it to the carwash and other times I wash it myself of pay one of my younger relatives to wash. Whichever way always costs money.
My vehicle stays covered when parked. I have it washed as needed. It gets detailed every other month.
When I wash my truck I just do it at home the old fashioned way. Bucket of water n soap a rag, sometimes a hose usually always shirtless.
Once every few months. I know that’s so bad but I hate going to the car wash because there’s loads of men and it feels intimidating.
Once a week with only water and once a month with Car washer.
Usually about once a week, but it varies as to how dirty it gets.
i'll sometimes do it myself with the hose in the driveway. No soap, just water.
Once a week for both vehicles. Usually the one I’m parking for a couple of days- especially in the winter with all the road salt.
Like twice a year. I rarely wash my car. Rain is free.
I don’t own a car!
But if I did I would wash it every once a month inside and out!
i haven't washed my car properly for a year, i think..
Just simply running the water on my car to dispel the heavy dirt only..
We have rain.
Just clean the windows from inside from time to time :)
A and C
A in the winter to remove the road salt.
C in the spring through to autumn as needed.
Far too rarely. Have yet to find a car wash in this city that my truck can fit into
Less often than I should by far… but I use it for work and live on dirt roads, so it’s less of an benefit for me.
only if it's Very dirty and the wife with me as she just love the carwash!
I don’t really have to I have a garage it gets washed when I get oil changes
When ever it looks dirty to me, can go weeks to months depending on the weather
Lol, when I had a car, I never even once cleaned it
Once a month
I used to get one once a week when I had a car wash membership
Its pollen season here and I saw cars backed up the other day
Virtually never. My car is a sort of gold/tan color that doesn't show dirt. I don't remember the last time I washed it.
I used to own a car and always cleaned it myself.
Not often enough, that’s for sure…
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha like once a month
Anytime I notice how dirty it is. 🥴
I dont wash rusted junk
Besides I have a pressure washer
My cousin rarely washes our vehicle
Non car owner passing by.
Roughly twice a month.
Never. I wash mine myself.
@curiousmufuxka
That is still getting it washed.
@MysteriousDarkness Nope, it's me washing my car instead of paying a fee ;)
