Why do people a have tendency to be more liberal in big cities?

Most universities are in larger cities. Young people go to universities to get indoctrinated/get a college degree. Then they tend to stay in those cities and get welfare, food stamps, go commit crime, steal, do drugs, etc. Yes, statistics show that there are higher crime rates and more drugs in large liberal cities.
Bigger cities typically give you exposure to a wider variety of cultures and backgrounds, making it easier to appreciate cosmopolitanism. It also divorces you from the realities of country life, pushing you away from both the positive and negative things that angle people towards conservativism.
More educated, and more of a diverse group of people so you get a better understanding of how people who look differently or act differently are not as different as they seem
Generally, you'll find more educated people in the larger cities than in more rural areas.
So could more education lead to more liberal you think? :)
Yeah, I read a Study at one point the was alluding to that idea, but I'm not sure where it went

That's where all the government services are. The further from the cities, the harder life gets cause there's no services and therefore the more self sufficient people are. And thus, more conservative.
For sure, if you see more different kinds of people you get more empathy and care more about the rights of others
Harder to be brainwashed.
I’m not sure exactly but it does seem that way
