Is Washington state the only place in the world where it’s not hotter then normal this year?

So I keep hearing how it’s been hotter this year then it was last year. I live in eastern Washington it normally get to over 100° in the summer, it’s done that once this year beyond that it’s been more rainy then normal we got snow in April. It’s barely gotten out of the 80s.

this is why I’m confused it seems colder this year then it was last year. Why? I know we had an el Nina this year does that have anything to do with it?

Sacramento is always pretty hot this time of year. I think this is pretty normal.

Fair, I do remember on going to Disneyland at the beginning of December and swimming in the pool and everyone looking at me like I’m nuts. I’m like it’s 70° this is pool weather. (Originally from the east side mainly grew up on the west side moved back to the east side). Major difference in climate
