Brother plays loud music, how can I make him turn it down?

Haha my older brother has a stereo system in his room...and its super loud lol...And our rooms are right next to each other..so he always blast DubStep..or watever other music he plays..and it annoys the crap out of me..haha I always tell him to turn it down or I would actully go into his room and pull the cord out of the wall lol...i usually just slam the door too...And when ever I tell him to at least turn it down a little he always just says that he won't and tht I should just close my door...

so anyways he wasn't blasting his music(which is definitely a first :p) a few days ago and I desided to blast my own...hahaha and he totally freaks out about it and I just yelled at him saying "Im just doing the same exact thing that you do to me every freaking day!" lol so ya he got really pissed at me...

Ya so is there any other thing that I could do to tell him to turn the freaking music off lol

Have you ever seen "Undeclared"...? When Rachel and her roommate did not like their song choices they tried to beat each other out until they could no longer take it (volume and song choice wise)...this proved unhelpful..however they eventually got to a song they both liked and just listened to the rest of the cd together...tell your brother that he should try playing something you both like when you are in the house at the same time...it is called courtesy...if he can not do this..then tell your mom or dad...
