Which job is better, a armed security guard or a armed bodyguard?

I'm thinking between the two but I guess it will also depend on the requirements and struggles of getting the licenses as well but personal opinion which do you suggest? I feel like the risks are higher as a body guard considering they hire personal body guards for a reason when security guards are usually in businesses or companies just to assure some sort of safety, I'm not doing it for the thrill of getting into a shootout, it's for the money so think of that when giving me your recommendation lol

Body guards can get paid more but they are more selective and might have to travel and move on demand, meaning you get less control over your daily schedule and if you don’t travel with your client, you might not have job security, there is also a lower demand for it since there are more banks who need security guards than rich people who need body guards, and many prefer to hire those who speak the same non English language so they can share secret ideas without being audited by strangers.

personal body guards do require plenty of experience and there's a lot of background checking, a really thorough one...

and if they're not as strict with these things then the chances are that they're hiring you as cannon fodder and meat shield and see you as disposable, lol

being a personal bodyguard is closer to a life style commitment rather than a temporary job

You missed my earlier rambling-response-mood.

Bodyguard has more pressure. They have to know a threat and plan against that threat. If something happens it’s on them.

A security guard is low totum pole security. Basically be eyes and report things they see. They aren’t even required to carry a gun.
