Well so far, yeah. My mom is SORTA getting there so i would believe it so. Hell, how about an example?
When she gets mad, she acts like a child and yells, talks out loud about I messed up and talks to herself, and talks to me for a minute then slams the door. That's how we lost our patio door made of glass. :) then one morning "I'm sorry I slammed the door."
Bitch does it again because i forgot something she wanted. So to this day, she still slams doors when she doesn't get her way.
So yeah, absolutely.
Yes.
My mother apologized frequently for her abuse of my father and me, then promptly turned around and did more of it.
It made her apologies worthless to me, made it impossible to trust her, and now I don't speak to her.
Apologies are just words. Changed behaviour means they actually listened and care enough to alter how they act to acknowledge what was said to them.
Not really.
Most things you apologise for are not things you'll be doing repeatedly anyway. Like spilling wine on a friends carpet, when drunk.
The quote should be
"If you're apologizing repeatedly for the same mistakes, you are the mistake."
Absolutely... "Sorry," is worthless, if they're just going to do it again. I would rather it never happen again, and not an apologetic word uttered.

Oh I definitely agree. Words mean nothing, I need to see actions unless I’m past the point of even caring.
I can get behind that. Actions speak louder than words after all.
Yes. You can apologize as much as you want but the only way to know you are truly sorry is if you change to the point you would never imagine doing it again
Wholeheartedly. As they say...
"Actions speak LOUDER than words."
I think it fits sometimes, but it depends on the details of the situation.
Nope. Saying sorry doesn't mean he was wrong.
Yes but a verbal apology helps too
Very much so.
Yes I do. It makes perfect sense.
Yeah.
Yes absolutely
Nope.
