My mom's weird punishment for me?

I just started babysitting those 2 girls aged 11 and 13 because of a lame punishment given by my mother. The problem is as soon as their mother left they jumped on me and took my shoes and socks and told me that as I’m their “slave” I have to stay barefoot entire time. The problem is I hate being without socks even at home so found this extremely uncomfortable. And when their mother came back and saw me barefoot I told her about their “rule” and she just laughed and told me that it’s not a big deal and told me “get on with it”.

Am I really making this a big deal? I have to go there today again, what should be my response if they demand my socks again?

You are the babysitter, which means you set the rules. If they "demand" your socks again, you simply refuse and make them take off their socks and give them to you. If they refuse, you give them 15 minutes of "time out" and keep repeating until they give you their socks.

That if they dont give you your shoes and socks back in the next 5 minutes you are going to go online and invite a gang of hungry violent rapists to come over to destroy their assholes.

There could be some fall out from this plan, perhaps even legal consequences but I am fairly certain there is a good chance of you getting your shoes and socks back and also not have to babysit in future.
