What an asinine assertion! You have an anecdotal experience, and suddenly women should not drive! You are not in Saudi Arabia anymore… oh wait, even THEY allow women to drive! 75% or all fatal accidents are caused by men, and men are responsible for around two thirds of all vehicle crashes, and don’t give me that crap “men drive more”, my mother usually drove our family, and any guy I date better get used to the passenger seat, or follow me there. Also, even if men do drive more Men don’t drive the 300% more, that they’d have to drive to cause 75% of fatal accidents! If you say they do… RECEIPTS PLEASE! There is a reason that women’s auto insurance is WAAAY cheaper than men’s, b/c we get in less accidents, get less tickets, and less DUI’s and EVERY statistic proves that! (And statistics go by “per miles driven”)

Therefore, I do agree with you that men should be prohibited from driving because they are the major cause for "road kills" of innocent children and other pedestrians.

I would of course endorse any initiative to prohibit men from driving anything bigger than a tricycle and certainly not cars, trucks and other mechanized vehicles.

If you want to get technical men are more likely to cause an accident than women are. Speeding, driving under the influence and not paying attention are all causes that affect both genders. Hell just yesterday a dude rolled his vehicle on the highway because he was speeding.

No, you have to pay more for your insurance because STATISTICALLY men cause more accidents, cause more fatal accidents, get more tickets, drive faster, and get more DUI’s! Also… Without extremely strong evidence of that fact, it would violate the civil rights act, and the equal protection clause of the constitution to charge men considerably more for the same insurance! One mans anecdote does not equal years of nationwide studies, evidence, data, and statistics!

@exitseven I’m not entirely sure what you mean, if you mean that you have lost friends in vehicle accidents, I’m so sorry about that, my friend lost her brother in a single vehicle accident, and that completely destroyed her, seriously it crushed her! It you are insinuating that I am using anecdotal evidence, I assure you I don’t just pull facts from thin air, I happened to research this. Here is just one source, www.statista.com/.../ I could literally fill the page with links to official statistics from governmental, insurance data, and NGO data showing the precise data on which gender is more likely to get a speeding ticket, a moving violation of any kind , get a DUI, Cause a non-fatal accident, or Cause a fatal accident. The facts have long been established, men, especially young men and teenagers take far greater risks behind the wheel, and thus cause the vast majority of vehicular accidents, sad to say!

@CrazyGirl2 no, I am sure what you have found is true. When I was a teenager I drove too fast at times and many times drove drunk. I was really lucky I never got caught or killed anyone but many people I knew were not so lucky. 3 people from my High School graduating class died in car wrecks. One did in the 9th grade. A couple more died after we graduated. They were all guys.
