What was your Sleep Paralysis experience like?

As I understand it, sleep paralysis is when you are between the stages of awake and sleeping. You then become conscious, unable to move, and vulnerable to hallucinations.
I get sleep paralysis, which can feel terrifying and real, so im sorry you had such intense experiences with it. Many people find sleep paralysis as spiritual, which I think can be a healthy way to ask yourself deeper questions and discover what your subconscious tells you.
You could also consider factors such as sleep deprivation, stress and medications/substances you take. I find I get them when I fall out of a good sleeping routine or am a little bit stressed - but that’s just my experience.
well i had one experience where i saw a shadow figure in my doorway, another where it had moved closer to my bed
another where two were standing in the doorway - i remember thinking they looked like darleks and cybermen and i was convinced for a bit that they were real
then I've had a few experiences where all i remember is trying to call for my mum and not being able to open my mouth
idr why, i just remember the fear
Scary thought I was about to die because I had a nightmare and my brain was woke I could hear what was happening but could not move and I did the worst thing possible which is panicking I almost suffocated because I slept on my stomach but I learned to calm down and just try to wiggle my toes or finger tips to help break out of it
Mostly scary. I think of something and it immediately appears in front of me. But my eyes are slightly open so I see my closet and dresser, I just also see whatever I think of at the moment. So I try to imagine a cute naked woman instead of a dark scary shadow!
