There was a misogynist that claimed to hate women. My post was about how I don't want to be another woman that wastes her time, years and it's all just sex. I want to get the right man and form a family early, not late in my 30's when it's too late. I understand there is the dating process but I can't take too many years into that; it goes against my own biology. I don't have all the time in the world to stay as a childless, girlfriend.

That pathetic dude was a grandpa himself and he was telling that I should get lost in the forest, no one will care about me. I just turned 17 not so long ago and therefore still a minor. Is that the way how you treat a minor?

but if you are having big, adult ideas, or discussing adult things, you have to expect other people to take you seriously.

He may be a real-life fool, not the brightest bulb in the box, surely has a life with some of his own regrets, but that was just him- taking you seriously.

Guys, just ONE year older than me, would sometimes say things like, “you’ll know when you’re more experienced/ when you get older.”

That specifically, is an age disqualification, but it doesn’t have to be and isn’t always the age they target, observe/ or don’t observe-

they can disqualify based on gender, and also for the very high chance that they are just closed minded, and want everyone to adopt their beliefs; etc.

I’m proud of you as a- minor in this aspect of this case, that you didn’t go public on this and say his name, and go all out getting people to help you argue with him or even try to belittle him.

You went anon, asking for genuine answers, respecting his privacy, as well as your own.

Now, if it was threatening to safety or health, or something extremely socially unacceptable, I’d say to report and bring it up with more than one trusted mod, for accountability, and proper assistance.

In this instance, I’m glad you chose to handle it, this way, so nobly.

Try not to get emotional on social media. With strangers.

You can, somewhat, just to realize that a lot of them are basic people who will not care for your UTMOST, best interest.

But otherwise, I’d say keep things Philosophical.

Especially, with men on social platforms. It’s easier for a woman to lose her sanity and emotional structure, when talking to guys- who can keep their emotions and logic in two separate bins/ compartments.

Men will remain logical, so I ask you a fellow sister, to go that extra mile to reciprocate the same. To establish yourself.

Being mature to keep your emotions in check, and reserved for those only, who care about you in your life, in person. Only 0.1% of the people you would associate online, would possibly be like that, of a decent friend.

The man you spoke with wasn’t your friend, and he showed that,

and he just showed how immature he was, in conveying his ideas.
