A lot of people make a big mess when they go through the dumpsters. They don't even clean up after themselves.

Ahh the trash... it's where my first stack of porno magazines came from, my first guitar, my first big screen T. V., and where my Uncle found thousands of dollars in counterfeit money to buy drugs... he was into meth. When I lived in the desert there was this huge place of garbage cans where everyone would throw their trash. I would go in and rip bags open and collect cans... literally would make a good $500 in a hard days work... as a 7 year old. (California and they buy cans and bottles for recycling)

Why outlaw it? You'd just be stripping people that want free shit of free shit. The police trying to enforce even more shit they don't have the time for? Naw man... let the trash be rummaged through.

Hell no... Set the Dumpsters free from bondage with Biden in charge. Inflation has tripled upfront Expense.

My first rental property with needles on the ground and gun shots in daylight 2/1 alum. siding 1945-55 home was rehabbed from the "scrap dumpster dig" and "clean-up the site for you" grabs.

In my area I was always racing the Latinos to the hot spots. Got to the point of a Bloc Captain family member stationed throughout... like the 13 year old nephew etc in some really shady areas. Not worth the fights at that point...

The problem with making it illegal is police are already overwhelmed, it would not really be enforced.

Littering is already illegal if they are making a mess, they should just be charged with that. Increase the fine for littering to like 5 grand.

Most people who littering don't ever get charged with it either.

It simply seems like making it illegal would be another crime that goes unenforced.

I think so.

BUT I think we should also stop throwing out so much good food and perfectly usable items - just because it's last sale date & corporations are greedy, "if we don't profit from this - no one should".

Give it to people in need, the homeless, low resource families and so on. Use what we have for those who need.

Nope as a dumpster diver I do clean after myself and when I find clothes that are clean I donate it also when I find cool things I keep it like my mini fridge that I found 4 years ago that still works great today
