We take showers but not baths together. Haven't done that since a hot tub in Japan... Plus, we don't have a tub in our bathroom. Gutted that and now it's a tub-sized shower enclosure with glass doors. :)

4. More showers or more baths? Showers. Baths are great to relax, but I can't imagine taking one every morning before work. Showers are more practical, and the soap/dirt/etc all gets washed down the drain instead of sitting in it.

I grew up with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, birds, gerbils, and rabbits. They were cute and fun, but also a lot of work. After I moved out on my own and lived without any pets, I found I enjoyed it. I still like getting to spend time with the pets when I visit my parents, but I just am fine not having pets of my own anymore.

Can say with 100% sincerity our dog had more self-control than either of my nieces at 3 years old. lol And while he couldn't speak words, it was never difficult to tell what he wanted. Dogs can be pretty expressive and learn to point at or lead you to what they want/need. You can even train your dog to communicate with buttons, which is neat. But yeah, pets aren't for everyone.
