Why can't nurses wear leggings/yoga pants in hospital?

They say that nothing spreads disease faster than a naked woman. And legging & yoga pants are basically as close to naked as one can get without exposing the old snizeroo.

They have to wear a uniform like scrubs to avoid for example viruses to go inside or outisde the hospital

These aren't 90° washable. But you need high temperatures and probably some chemical treatment as well to kill all bacteria and viruses and fungi... and whatever the nurses come into contact.

Otherwise they would risk infection, even when wearing brand new clothes.

Also the Uniforms are loose and unisex - to fit all types of bodyshapes.

it is bad enough they wear scrubs all the time. When I was in the hospital 30 years ago they wore real uniforms.
