So some mofo asked me this in a gas station because I wanted cigarettes. "I'm --." and he asked the question and I was supposed to be packed up and hitting the road. I told him, flatly. He repeated and... that was it. Cigarettes are mine. Made me kinda happy he really thought I was a kid. Be more hilarious if he asked me for my ID. So have y'all had that situation for something? And how did it go? Was it annoying or hilarious?
Just a few years ago, I was buying a bottle of rum in a liquor store. The cashier asked to see my ID. I was all giddy and smiles and nods and, "oh gosh, thank you."
Then the cashier swiped my ID into the register like it was a credit card! Apparently, they swipe every customer ID (it had nothing to do with my age). I never went there again because I don't like my personal info being harvested.
Anyhow, I felt so silly thinking they were just being nice.

Lmao... that's a great story. So, there I was -- just this morning -- at the grocery store. They had a sale on my second favorite wine soni grabbed two bottles. (Living it up I am.) The cashier was very nice and really good at her job. She's obligated to ask for ID which I give her. She then proceeds to say, "oh, you're as old as my mom."
There was an awkward silence for a moment.
Then we both laughed.
Being told that I look younger isn’t annoying nor hilarious. I kinda don’t like it

If I'm not mistaken I think they have to ask you by law now, last thing I heard it was required by law to ask everyone but I don't know lol
I've never been asked about my age, and if I were asked I'd tell them to mind their own damned business.
age is on my profile. the other i didn't give out
